Jack Hains fought a courageous battle with ALS. Sadly, Jack died in 2010. Jack was a beloved husband, father, retired Naval Officer and attorney.
Jack was born in Ravena, NY. He graduated from the University of Rochester, where he participated in the Navy ROTC program and served seven years active duty. Jack attended the University at Buffalo School of Law and graduated in 1983. He was admitted to the bar in New York and Florida and had a successful career as an attorney in Buffalo.
Jack was a loving husband and father. He was extremely proud of his 3 children, Adam, Dan and Kate. Jack enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed his family, skiing, and travel. Jack visited all 50 states and traveled to New Zealand while battling ALS. Jack was active in his community of Eden, NY and in his church, Immaculate Conception, where he served as Trustee for many years. Jack was proud to serve on the board of Harvest House for many years.
