This fun, family event raises awareness & funding as we educate the community about the underfunded & devastating illness, ALS.
Games, Food, Prizes & awesome activities help to raise desperately needed research dollars, all to benefit the world's largest lab dedicated to finding a treatment and cure, ALS-TDI.
Inspired by 8 year old Sydney Petrone and her efforts to help find a cure for her Dad, we are proud to bring Carnival for Pals to Greenwich, CT and to name Roger Petrone our Honorary CIO- “Carnival Inspiration Officer”.
A Greenwich Police Officer for 17+ years, Roger is the inspiration behind this years event. We honor him as we fight to find a treatment and to remind all whom are battling ALS, we have your back!
Carnival for Pals began in 2007 after learning our dear friend, Pam Callahan was diagnosed with ALS. Knowing her greatest joy in life is children, our community joined together and created this over-the-top event.
Hundreds of children have volunteered over the years to build games, plan, promote and run the event. During our planning meetings, kids are always learning about the importance of giving back and in making ALS their cause to stand behind.

Even if you can’t attend, you can support our event & be there virtually by purchasing a cowbell to be rung at the finish line. Each cowbell will be decorated & carry the name in honor of a person who has been affected by ALS. All cowbells will be rung at the finish line by the kids attending the Carnival. Delaware, Ohio Girl Scout Cadette Troop #1333 will decorate and write the name of your loved one for any donation over $25.
