ProductsPeter Frederik Zucker, June 15, 1965 – March 18, 2013. Pete was diagnosed with ALS in April 2010, but he had shown symptoms in May of 2009. Pete was a husband, father, brother, business owner, and an endurance athlete.
Pete and his wife, Monica, met in college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1991. They married and settled in Danville where they raised their boys Ryan and Zachary. Pete and Monica had an incredible circle of close friends, they viewed their friends and family as their most cherished blessing.
Pete was an avid cyclist and triathlete. He belonged to the Wells Fargo Cycling Team and the Danville based Forward Motion Race Club. A great competitor - his most satisfying athletic accomplishments were competing in the Half-Ironman World Championships, the La Jolla Rough Water swim, and bike racing with his teammates on the Wells Fargo Racing Team.
