Hello Friends

On August 3, 2014, I will compete in the New York City Triathlon to raise money and awareness for ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI) -- a privately funded, nonprofit ALS research center in Cambridge, Massachusetts -- in support of my friend Pete Frates and Team Frate Train.

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) -- more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease -- is a neurodegenerative disorder for which there is currently no cure.  Since being diagnosed with ALS, Pete and the entire Team Frate Train have fought with dignity and relentlessness to "strike out" this debilitating disease.
