ALS Marathon Row

Every 90 minutes a person in this country is diagnosed with ALS, and every 90 minutes another person will lose  their battle. This crippling disease can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause of the disease though  support is bringing researchers closer to an answer. In the mean time, it costs an average of $200,000 a year to  provide the care ALS patients need, which can be a financial and emotional burden on the families. Help us make a  difference. 

Please join us on Saturday April 25th to Row a Marathon!                                                                                        42,195m or 26.3 miles, on a Rowing machine.                                                                                       Go for the distance alone or as a team.

Anyone can be a part of this event! With a full team of 7 people sharing the distance, you would only need to Row 6000m each! Still sounds like a long way? Think about it like this...Row 1000m (approximately 4-6 minutes) then Rest while your teammates do their part and then you go back for another 1000m!! So you Row for 5 minutes, Rest for 30 minutes...ANYONE COULD DO THAT!!! 

In order to achieve our goal we ask for a minimum donation of:                                                                                           $200 PER ROWING MACHINE (per machine, not per person)

 If you are rowing as an Individual, you are responsible for raising/donating the $200 alone. If you are rowing as a Team, the team must raise/donate $200 (e.g a team of 5, each team member should raise just $40)  

 But remember, don't just aim to hit the minimum, because the Lululemon will be awarding each member of  the team  that raises the most money with a free T-Shirt of their choice!

Time:     8:15am Sign-In.      8:40am Group Warm-up.      9am Row Start Time.

Participants/Teams must have registered for the event prior to the day and then sign-in before the start time to be assigned a rowing machine.

Location:      3Sixty Cycling Studio with Groove Indoor Rowing.    4 Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair, NJ
